Introduction of the Artist:
30 years of studying martial art, Hu Chia, inspired by the accumulation and gestation in Monkey and Crane Gung Fu, composed “Regression – Circle of life”, with the attempt to exemplify the concept of Budo, and to extract the essence of life through graphic art and physical language.
The three distinctly different repertoires, Still Water, Expecting Life and Regression render the inevitable processes of life such as purity, monologue, outburst and confrontation.

Repertoire:
Still Water – By way of treading and Guqin music, an inherent force, seemingly motionless, emerges.
Expecting Life – White Crane Gung Fu, with the accompaniment of chanting, epitomizes the destination of all creation.
Regression – the performer and the cello music intensely involved, then force surfaces out of the center of the earth. Everything returns to its beginning.
